SUPERVISION/CONSULTATION
For many years, Dr. Unger has conducted a number of ongoing supervision-consultation groups. Attendees have included both experienced licensed therapists who want to improve their clinical skills in a collegial setting and novice therapists who are working toward licensure. Because the emphasis in Bob’s supervision-consultation groups is on the relationship dynamics between a clinician and a client or group, practitioners of any theoretical persuasion are welcome.
Supervision-consultation groups are also open to members who are educators, physicians, and other types of professionals who want to study the transference and interpersonal dynamics that exist between themselves and their clients, groups, and organizations. Individual supervision-consultation is also available.
Dr. Unger is one of the pioneers in establishing a distance consultation practice. He conducts individual and group sessions using Skype and other online seervices to enable non-residents of Boulder, Colorado, to gain valuable training experiences.
